Retsina
of Mesogaia

Retsina has been produced in Greece for thousands of years by adding pine tree resin of the ‘Pinus Hallepensis’ species to the Savatiano grapes during the fermentation process in order to aromatize it, it also acts as a natural preservative. It perfectly accompanies the strong flavors of appetizers, such as tzatziki, skordalia (garlic dip), aubergine dip and fried fish.
